How to Make a Money Wallet

I haven’t done this in a while because of the vacation, so I’m doing a really cool project. I call it “The Money Wallet!” You can follow along with the instructions at your discretion, or you can read it, then cry for an hour because of your poorness and failure.

  :D

Ingredients:

  • 8 Banknotes (any kind)
  • Your own sweet self
  • 2 eggs
  • cocoa powder

Step 1: Select two notes to be the “base.” I won’t be using ones because, unlike you, I’m rich. I use ones as toilet paper. Since different denominations can be larger or smaller than others, you should use the same value of money for each step. It helps if your dough is “bread” is as crisp as possible, you dig?

Hold the two notes together, back to back. It’s just that simple.

Step Two: Take a banknotes and fold it in half. Unfold, then fold each end to the center crease. Unfold again, then take one end and fold it to the furthermost crease, which you just made. You’ll find that you have two notes, each divided into two parts- a long part and a short part. They are seperated by a crease.

Step Three: Take each of these and put them on the end of the two back-to-back notes you made a while ago. You want the long part of the note to be horizontal on the base notes, with the crease on the edge, and the short part hanging off the edge. If you need further help, hold your hands in front of you, palms facing your chest. Hold the fingers on each hand together, thumbs outstretched. Move your left hand so that it hits the curved spot where your right-hand thumb joins the rest of your hand. fold your right thumb down so it’s touching your left hand. Now pretend your hands are made of money, which I do all the time.

Anyway, do the same thing (not the hand thing) with the other note, on the same side, but so the long part is facing the other note. In effect, the short part of this note will be covering half of the long part of the other note.

Step three is my least favorite of steps- it’s way hard to explain, but easy to do.

Step four: Repeat steps two and three with the other side of the base notes.

This is what you should have. Sort of.

Step five: Take two more notes and fold them in half. This time, put them on the bottom of the wallet, so the crease is parallel to the wallet, and the two sides of the note are on either side of the wallet. do the same with the other note. Make sure it’s covering the short and long sides of the notes from steps three and four.

Find the two base ontes in the center of your mess, being careful to not take anything apart, and fold over the tippy-tops of the outermost notes (the fives) so that they’re folded into the inside of the wallet.

Step six: Now fold the ”lips” of the wallet inwards so the fives stay in place.

Finally, Fold the wallet in half, so it will fit in your pocket.

Congratulations, you’ve finished! Now your wallet will give you unheard-of benefits: you can carry money around with your newfound style and flair. You can pay for things with glamour. You’ll never run out of cash on hand again, and everyone will want to make love with you.

mittins pretty much summed it up

OK, but Oak Street is his territory. I don’t want to be responsible for any gang wars.
